Who is Free? window tells you which objects are free, scheduled or blocked at a specific time slot. Whe you first enter the timetable, the window appears minimized at the bottom of the utility windows at the right. To show it, you can drag its upper edge upward or maximize it.

The window reacts to the current selection in the main timetable grid. As soon as you click on any cell, Who is Free? window shows the free objects in the time slot of the cell you clicked on.

You can narrow down your query:
  • For teachers, you can define that you only want teachers who teach in a specific group. Only teachers who have an activity in which they are involved in the selected group will be shown.

  • For groups, you can define that you only want groups who are taught by a specific teacher. Only groups which have an activity in which the selected teacher is involved will be shown.

  • For rooms, you can define that you only want rooms which can contain a specific number of students. Only rooms of the minimal capacity you defined will be shown.
There is additional information which is included in the list of free objects: the number of gaps that will be created or closed as a result of scheduling this free object at the selected time slot. This number appears in blue brackets near the object's name. For example, if Bob is scheduled on Monday on lessons 1, 2 and 3, and you are checking which objects are free on the 5th lesson, Bob will appear with (+1) next to his name, because scheduling him on the 5th lesson will create a gap on the 4th.
