In the Interactive mode, activities are scheduled in the timetable by dragging an activity from the Activities window into the desired time slot. When you begin dragging, the program instantly shows the slots in which the activity can be scheduled without causing a conflict. Also, if you drop the activity in a conflicted slot, you will be notified of the activities it conflicts with.

How to Schedule Activities?

Scheduling activities is quite easy and intuitive. Follow these steps:
  1. First click on the activity to select it. Now press the left mouse button on the highlighted row to begin dragging. Hold the mouse button pressed.

  2. The program will highlight the cells in which the activity can be scheduled without causing a conflict. If you schedule the activity in any of the other cells, you will receive a warning about a conflict.

  3. Drop the activity in the desired time slot. This is done by pointing on the cell and leaving the mouse button.

It makes a difference whether you begin dragging by pointing on the group or teacher's name. The timetable of the object you are pointing on when you begin dragging (shown underlined) will be automatically shown on screen when you begin dragging the activity.

If you click inside a set, the whole set will be selected. If you drag it, all the activities that belong to the set will be scheduled together when you drop it in the timetable.

You can choose several rows in the Activities window by holding down the Ctrl key pressed, and clicking on the desired rows with mouse. All selected rows are dragged when you begin dragging either one of them.

Moving and Deleting Cells

Moving of cells is also a Drag & Drop operation. Click inside the cell, wait for a second and then you will be able to drag & drop it wherever you want.
